Free Pattern: Hewson by Leah McGlone

Someone recently asked me if I knit in the summer months and my immediate internal response was, "I'm sorry, have we met?" However, after thinking about it, I realized that I keep two projects in rotation at all times.

The first being a moderate to experienced project to keep my knitting brain active and the second being a simple project that's perfect for on-the-go social knitting. In the summer my knitting bag mostly consists of the latter - and I'm excited to share my recently completed summer project, Hewson

Hewson by Leah McGlone from Kelbourne Woolens featuring The Fibre Co. Road to China Lace in Blue Diamond

Knit out of The Fibre Co. Road to China Lace in blue diamond, Hewson is an asymmetrical shawl featuring an eyelet picot edging that's worked throughout the entire body of the shawl. This shawl only took 80 gm/525 yd of the 100 gm/656 yd skein and almost measures 4 ft in length, so really the sky's the limit with this one!
