Holiday Gift Ideas from The Fibre Company!

Over the course of the summer we were able to do some designing and knitting with the holidays in mind. In the last few weeks, these lovely projects have been appearing in the latest issues of Interweave, so we thought a three-part posting would be a great way to showcase some holiday themed gift giving (or personal home enhancing!) possibilities with you.

The first project, the Anemone Tea Cosy (Interweave Link) + (Ravelry Link), is designed by Kate and featured in Interweave Knits Weekend, their special issue packed with a wide variety of projects for men, women, kids and the home.

The Anemone Tea Cosy was inspired by Kate's love of all things tea.  She drinks loose leaf tea all day, especially in the winter, (all of her tea is bought at Premium Steap in Philadelphia, a wonderful little shop in Rittenhouse Square - they do mail order, too!).  The cosy is knit in four bright colors of Organik, Seawater (navy), Lichens (yellow), Aquatic Forest (mint green) and Arctic Tundra (white) and features a bunch of details that Kate really loves - stripes, Folk inspired embroidery and an Estonian braid for at the base. Whats more, the cosy is fully lined and reversible depending on your mood!

The Anemone Tea Cosy would make a great gift for the tea (or french press coffee) lover in your life, or even a post-holiday daze treat for yourself!
